Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bex's David Boog started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes, Neyruz SC's Gael Nietlispach shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramon Eichmann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Neyruz SC reached it. After 5 played minutes Bex got a freekick which was hit by Sixt Rothschild. The supporters of Neyruz SC booed when Bex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germano Wermelinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Raphael Schmidlin made a precise shot to the right of Ramon Eichmann. Bex's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Neyruz SC's Geoffroy Weltert got a free kick in the 13th minute. Arturo Figini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Boog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Bex's zone, Odin Shuster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Eichmann came out of the goal and Odin Shuster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute Raphael Schmidlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Eichmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Odin Shuster in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Eichmann saved Bex from getting behind. In the 37th match minute, Neyruz SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Odin Shuster to maneuver through the defense. After 39 minutes, Gael Nietlispach mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neyruz SC and the Bex players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gael Nietlispach hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 41 minutes in the game Anatole Wickihalter after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Arturo Figini. A very good opportunity. 43 minutes into the game, Elmar Allmen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neyruz SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bex the free kick. The supporters of Bex booed when Neyruz SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmar Allmen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bex's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cedric Bisang in the 47th minute. A nice corner shot did that Cedric Bisang got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arturo Figini quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half Neyruz SC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Odin Shuster to make the kick off. If Bruno Kaiser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Eichmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odin Shuster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramon Eichmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odin Shuster in the 59th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Odin Shuster in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Eichmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Germano Wermelinger kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bex's zone, Raphael Schmidlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Eichmann came out of the goal and Raphael Schmidlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Odin Shuster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bex's Ramon Eichmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odin Shuster in the 86th minute of play. Arturo Figini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Kaiser, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Odin Shuster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Eichmann having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Neyruz SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bex.
