In the 8th match minute, FC Slayer-King was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Migneault to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Bruno Kaiser had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jamal Jeanquartier. FC Slayer-King's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Kaiser was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th minute of the match, Philippe Bolla got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ramon Eichmann was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Philippe Bolla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Eichmann having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bex's zone, Philippe Bolla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Eichmann came out of the goal and Philippe Bolla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Kolb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. David Kolb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Eichmann having to interfere. Sixt Rothschild hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. David Kolb's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramon Eichmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Bruno Kaiser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jamal Jeanquartier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 minutes, David Boog made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Slayer-King's Jamal Jeanquartier tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Kolb in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Eichmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Anatole Wickihalter hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Ramon Eichmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philippe Bolla's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Ramon Eichmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Kolb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philippe Bolla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Eichmann having to interfere. If David Boog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Slayer-King's Roberto Claude got a free kick in the 71st minute. Bruno Kaiser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. In the 88thth minute of the game Philippe Bolla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bex's Ramon Eichmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Bex's goal looked a bit too open when David Kolb came free, but Ramon Eichmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bex players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC Slayer-King from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
