In the 3rd minute, Amadeus Schnyder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 5 minutes of play, Karakartal JK's Francois Strebel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chuck Schreiber was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Karakartal JK's Francois Strebel got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Michael Cathomas came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Ensex fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Cathomas couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Karakartal JK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Denis Gerber hit a great ball. In the 11th minute of the match Solomon Buck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artur Walter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Karakartal JK's Artur Walter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frasier Herzog in the 14th minute of play. The goalkeeper, Artur Walter, was totally fooled by Ensex's Solomon Buck, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ensex's zone, Francois Strebel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chuck Schreiber came out of the goal and Francois Strebel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Frasier Herzog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Denis Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karakartal JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Gerber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chuck Schreiber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francois Strebel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chuck Schreiber having to make a save. Denis Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chuck Schreiber having to interfere. Matthias Zeiher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Chuck Schreiber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Olivier Rütsche in the 45th minute really tested Artur Walter's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hajo Henseler made a kick off. Ensex's Chuck Schreiber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Amsel in the 56th minute of play. If Denis Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frasier Herzog during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Denis Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francois Strebel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Chuck Schreiber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Karakartal JK booed when Ensex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedict Sanschagrin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Matthias Zeiher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Simon Kündig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 89th minute of the match Frasier Herzog completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Frasier Herzog a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Karakartal JK booed when Ensex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frasier Herzog didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francois Strebel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Chuck Schreiber made a huge save. If Leopold Küttel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Ensex were victorious despite being under pressure from Karakartal JK for much of the match.
