Joshua Frankfurter struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Heiko Phaneuf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Visperterminen HC. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heiko Phaneuf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ziegelbrücke FC's Gianni Andermatt got a free kick in the 26th minute. Heiko Phaneuf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Frankfurter in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Muller in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heiko Phaneuf saved Ziegelbrücke FC from getting behind. If Joshua Frankfurter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Muller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Heiko Phaneuf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jourdain Capoccitti scored 0-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heiko Phaneuf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joshua Frankfurter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heiko Phaneuf having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexander Muller was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Cedric Rindlisbacher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Visperterminen HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ziegelbrücke FC the free kick. Cedric Rindlisbacher kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Heiko Phaneuf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Muller in the 53rd minute of play. When Visperterminen HC's Alexander Muller in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ziegelbrücke FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 60th play minute Jourdain Capoccitti came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Heiko Phaneuf. 0-4. Heiko Phaneuf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Muller in the 65th minute of play. Heiko Phaneuf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Muller, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Alexander Muller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Heiko Phaneuf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joshua Frankfurter in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Ziegelbrücke FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Muller came free, but Heiko Phaneuf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neil Henchoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tjark Valletta, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Alexander Muller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Visperterminen HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Muller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heiko Phaneuf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Heiko Phaneuf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cedric Rindlisbacher, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
