After 16 played minutes FC Basel 1893 got a freekick which was hit by Rainier Goetschi. In the 19th minute, Tibor Nacht left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brilliant Wildlife XI end fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Vitus Manta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. If Jeffrey Gassmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Brilliant Wildlife XI end's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Baldini came free, but Leonardo Frey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tibor Nacht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Dietrich Freitag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Dino Baldini managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Basel 1893's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Baldini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Frey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jeffrey Gassmann came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FC Basel 1893 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeffrey Gassmann couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Jeffrey Gassmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Basel 1893's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egon Gour was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Jeffrey Gassmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Leonardo Frey made a huge save. Brilliant Wildlife XI end's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
