Xaver Meyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Gianluca Burri fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jonah Lisibach's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Nicolai Gmür skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gene Meier kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Nicolai Gmür made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Jonah Lisibach sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Yannis Gisler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernhard Pohland was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Xaver Meyer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yannis Gisler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bernhard Pohland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Erwin Robert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Werthenstein SC and the 1. FC Hombrechtikon players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Werthenstein SC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Erwin Robert hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Pat Meyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolai Gmür showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Burri, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yannis Gisler to make the kick off. Gene Meier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 55 minutes, Yannis Gisler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1. FC Hombrechtikon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yannis Gisler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th match minute, Werthenstein SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwin Robert to maneuver through the defense. Loris Wüest hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Pat Meyer's late challenge caught a Werthenstein SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pat Meyer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, 1. FC Hombrechtikon's Pat Meyer got a free kick in the 71st minute. Nicolai Gmür didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Werthenstein SC's Gianluca Burri shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Yannis Gisler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Bernhard Pohland made a huge save. The throw-in from Serenus von Arb in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by 1. FC Hombrechtikon's Gene Meier. Nicolai Gmür showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Burri in the 89th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Werthenstein SC could leave the field as winners, despite 1. FC Hombrechtikon having more of the ball for most of the match.
