When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joao Kappel was the one to do the kick off. Jeremiah Lampart kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. SL Benfica-Bern's Salvador Faust played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scott Lenzin in the 55th minute of play. Joao Kappel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Faust having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Pfaffensprung's Joao Kappel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Salvador Faust narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramon Paskuj's late challenge caught a Pfaffensprung's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 67th minute Joao Kappel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Faust saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvador Faust stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Scott Lenzin's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joao Kappel in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Faust saved SL Benfica-Bern from getting behind. In the 86th minute Joao Kappel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Faust saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Joao Kappel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salvador Faust was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Scott Lenzin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pfaffensprung's supporters rose to their feet, but Scott Lenzin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Faust breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salvador Faust showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joao Kappel in the 100th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pfaffensprung had won after a very even match.
