Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frye Schaerer kicked off to start the match. Huber Grubenmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frye Schaerer in the 3rd minute of play. Dave Hofer charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dave Hofer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, one of Aurigeno:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aurigeno. When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, Pfaffensprung's Klaas Sanchen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mario Dové. With a little luck, Aurigeno's Mario Dové got control of the ball when Scott Lenzin tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Aurigeno getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sidonius Grob hit a great ball. Mario Dové showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joao Kappel in the 14th minute of the match. Mario Dové stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joao Kappel's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Mario Dové made an important save on a dangerous shot by Scott Lenzin in the 21st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Mario Dové successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joao Kappel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Dové made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Scott Lenzin sent off a good shot on target. If Germano Stadler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Pfaffensprung booed when Aurigeno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilian Vega didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Scott Lenzin came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Pfaffensprung fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Scott Lenzin couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joao Kappel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Scott Lenzin in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Dové saved Aurigeno from getting behind. In the 60th minute of the match Sylvain Weiss sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Dové skillfully saved the ball. After 60 played minutes Aurigeno got a freekick which was hit by Klemens Strauss. Frye Schaerer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aurigeno! Germano Stadler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pfaffensprung's Scott Lenzin in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aurigeno's goalie prevented a goal. Joao Kappel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Dové having to interfere. Mario Dové stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joao Kappel's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Aurigeno's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
