Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezra Fieschi in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrique Ludwig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to FC Eschlikon getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Romero Baumeister hit a great ball. Anselm Wollstadt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd match minute, FC Eschlikon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orell Léveillé to maneuver through the defense. Ezra Fieschi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rodrique Ludwig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 40 minutes on the clock, Owain Salaar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of 1. FC Klosterbräu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Eschlikon:s goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Colin Hébert to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Anselm Wollstadt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Eschlikon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselm Wollstadt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anselm Wollstadt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damian LeBatelier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Colin Hébert in the 61st minute of the match. Damian LeBatelier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Colin Hébert went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Anselm Wollstadt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to 1. FC Klosterbräu getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Gates Acciaro hit a great ball. In the 86th minute of the match Clinton Steinemann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damian LeBatelier skillfully saved the ball. If Dé Baba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When FC Eschlikon's Anselm Wollstadt in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Eschlikon had played much better football throughout.
