Spectators: 7596 (Terracing: 5814, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hennes Lauzier got the match started through his kick off. Jeremie Camenzind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tade Meyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hennes Lauzier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randy Wasser having to interfere. Randy Wasser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hennes Lauzier, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Basilius Heggli came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Gampel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilius Heggli couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Gampel's zone, Timo Caniglia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Randy Wasser came out of the goal and Timo Caniglia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tade Meyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremie Camenzind having to interfere. If Timo Caniglia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Tade Meyer made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilius Heggli in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremie Camenzind prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Randy Wasser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hennes Lauzier, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gampel's goalkeeper Randy Wasser, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hennes Lauzier came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the AS Gnosca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hennes Lauzier couldn't finish the play. Timo Caniglias short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Randy Wasser to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ramon Nuessli charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramon Nuessli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to AS Gnosca getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ramon Nuessli hit a great ball. Bastian Imbach kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Pawel Hennenberg, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Gampel getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tade Meyer hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AS Gnosca walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
