AS Gnosca's Timo Caniglia got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrien Hulliger made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Timo Caniglia sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute, Vico Bürgin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Scheidegger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jeremie Camenzind. AS Gnosca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Hennes Lauzier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timo Caniglia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrien Hulliger having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Schuders AC got a freekick which was hit by Christophe Coscarella. With a little luck, Schuders AC's Adrien Hulliger got control of the ball when Timo Caniglia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ben Herzog charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ben Herzog the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Ben Herzog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Timo Caniglia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hennes Lauzier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hennes Lauzier in the 74th minute of play forced Schuders AC's goalkeeper Adrien Hulliger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, Schuders AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christophe Coscarella to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timo Caniglia in the 83rd minute of play forced Schuders AC's goalkeeper Adrien Hulliger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AS Gnosca were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Schuders AC for a fine match.
