In the 7thth minute of the game Yannic Furst who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AS Gnosca's Jeremie Camenzind was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Timo Esposito kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hennes Lauzier in the 17th minute of play forced Dutjen HC's goalkeeper Renja Müller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Laurenz Junod shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremie Camenzind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Timo Caniglia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renja Müller. Dutjen HC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timo Caniglia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 26th minute, Dutjen HC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Timo Caniglia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 28 minutes into the game, Dutjen HC's Yannic Furst nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeremie Camenzind made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Niccolo Bucciarelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremie Camenzind read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Yannic Furst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremie Camenzind having to interfere. Dutjen HC's Yannic Furst got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Jeremie Camenzind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yannic Furst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 minutes, Vico Bürgin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AS Gnosca and the Dutjen HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dutjen HC booed when AS Gnosca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vico Bürgin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dutjen HC's Timo Esposito couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AS Gnosca. AS Gnosca's Jeremie Camenzind proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save AS Gnosca from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, AS Gnosca's goalkeeper Jeremie Camenzind had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niccolo Bucciarelli. If Roger Trudeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Vico Bürgin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremie Camenzind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yannic Furst, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Marek Hodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niccolo Bucciarellis short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Jeremie Camenzind to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vico Bürgin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Jeremie Camenzind made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niccolo Bucciarelli in the 86th minute. Jeremie Camenzind was a little too slow when Niccolo Bucciarelli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-2. Roger Trudeau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dutjen HC's Yannic Furst got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeremie Camenzind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yannic Furst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremie Camenzind came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Dutjen HC's Niccolo Bucciarelli. But to his dismay, Niccolo Bucciarelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When the match was over Dutjen HC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AS Gnosca throughout the match.
