Lesley Faber was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 15 minutes, Riccardo Rothschild made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Grindelfeld's Neil Braun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Erasmus Borghi hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, Grindelfeld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gordon Kluge to maneuver through the defense. Riccardo Rothschild really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 40th minute, Eddy Nüesch made a precise shot to the right of Eric Fässler. Pereira FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 46 minutes into the match, Alexandros Greber dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Neil Braun, 3-1.

If Bernardo Wehrli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neil Braun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sten Ursprung went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Neil Braun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Riccardo Rothschild, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. If Sten Ursprung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pereira FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
