FC Tibau du Sul's Benedict Gut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Zihler in the 11th minute of play. Gianni Bonenfant blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harry Meyer having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, FC Tibau du Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Zihler came free, but Benedict Gut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Holsonpt's Harry Meyer got control of the ball when Havel Fürst tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Eduard Disler fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Tibau du Sul's protests and gave Eduard Disler a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Eduard Disler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedict Gut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fergus Bouchard in the 22nd minute of play. Fernando Zihler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 27 minutes, Fernando Zihler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holsonpt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Zihler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Artur Syz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Holsonpt's Fernando Zihler in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Tibau du Sul's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Zihler to strike the kick off in the second half. Harry Meyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianni Bonenfant, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Holsonpt's Fernando Zihler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedict Gut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Artur Syz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Zihler was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Holsonpt's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Zihler in the 66th minute of play forced FC Tibau du Sul's goalkeeper Benedict Gut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 minutes, Remy Käch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holsonpt and the FC Tibau du Sul players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Holsonpt getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Remy Käch hit a great ball. If Fernando Zihler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Tibau du Sul's zone, Artur Syz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedict Gut came out of the goal and Artur Syz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedict Gut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Zihler in the 80th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Artur Syz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedict Gut was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benedict Gut, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Artur Syz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Eduard Disler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Artur Syz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holsonpt's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Syz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedict Gut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Holsonpt played a much better game than FC Tibau du Sul and deserved their victory. The FC Tibau du Sul players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
