Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jeffrey Schoch made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Monte Brè's goal looked a bit too open when Jeffrey Schoch came free, but Fabian Gisler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olympio Helmholz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Stähelin having to interfere. German Clementia hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Monte Brè's Constantine Schifferle broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 8 minutes into the match, Monte Brè's Olympio Helmholz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc Stähelin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marc Stähelin came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Monte Brè's Olympio Helmholz. But to his dismay, Olympio Helmholz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Levi Gräf fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 23 minutes into the game, Matteo Fischer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaffna Town Sheep FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monte Brè the free kick. A collision led to Jaffna Town Sheep FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Matteo Fischer hit a great ball. Levi Gräf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Levi Gräf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Jaffna Town Sheep FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Olympio Helmholz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Matthias Seifert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Monte Brè defense, Matthias Seifert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Gisler. The Monte Brè fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Gisler should have stopped the shot. Marc Stähelin made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Olympio Helmholz sent off a good shot on target. Levi Gräf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marc Stähelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levi Gräf, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Jeffrey Schoch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Gisler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Levi Gräf made a kick off. Levi Gräf struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Marc Stähelin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monte Brè. Levi Gräf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Marc Stähelin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jaffna Town Sheep FC's zone, Olympio Helmholz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc Stähelin came out of the goal and Olympio Helmholz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Monte Brè's goalkeeper Fabian Gisler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthias Seifert. When Kersten Heller fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monte Brè's protests and gave Kersten Heller a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, Monte Brè was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kersten Heller to maneuver through the defense. Marc Stähelin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olympio Helmholz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Jaffna Town Sheep FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olympio Helmholz came free, but Marc Stähelin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Jeffrey Schoch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Gisler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Olympio Helmholz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 minutes, German Clementia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaffna Town Sheep FC and the Monte Brè players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes Jaffna Town Sheep FC got a freekick which was hit by German Clementia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levi Gräf in the 92nd minute of play forced Jaffna Town Sheep FC's goalkeeper Marc Stähelin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
