If Kuno Brunelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ehrendingen's goalkeeper Thorsten Gätter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thorsten Gätter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuno Brunelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dominique Hufschmid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kuno Brunelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thorsten Gätter having to interfere. In the 31st minute Dominique Hufschmid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thorsten Gätter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VidemonteFC's Kuno Brunelle got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Dominique Hufschmid's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thorsten Gätter was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominique Hufschmid was the one to do the kick off. Ehrendingen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Dominique Hufschmid scored to the left of an out of position Thorsten Gätter, making the score, 0-2. Kuno Brunelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 74 minutes, Dominique Hufschmid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VidemonteFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominique Hufschmid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kuno Brunelle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Thorsten Gätter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ehrendingen's Thorsten Gätter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominique Hufschmid in the 79th minute of play. The Ehrendingen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. VidemonteFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
