An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Kronenberg in the 7th minute of play forced fertig's goalkeeper Igor Nager to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reiner Blum was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. FC Luna's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jacques Baumgartner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 17 minutes, Baptiste Courtemanche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fertig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baptiste Courtemanche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Heino Kreyenbühl kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Reiner Blum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Luna's Reiner Blum slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Igor Nager. That made the score 1-0 after 38 minutes of play. fertig's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Reiner Blum 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 50th minute, Michel Struver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reiner Blum in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Nager saved fertig from getting behind. 3-0 became the score in the 54th minute when Reiner Blum elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Kain LondeLalonde struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Igor Nager didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Luna. In the 61st minute Reiner Blum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Nager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reiner Blum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Igor Nager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Kain LondeLalonde managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Luna's supporters rose to their feet, but Kain LondeLalonde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Nager breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Luna's Reiner Blum got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 80 minutes, Michael Kronenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Luna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Kronenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Luna reached it. Kain LondeLalonde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the fertig defense, Reiner Blum kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Nager. The fertig fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Nager should have stopped the shot. Reiner Blum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Igor Nager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the FC Luna players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
