Spectators: 6770 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Gruenigen kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute Jacques Baumgartner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Vogel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Gruenigen hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pailly's zone, Baptiste Courtemanche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Vogel came out of the goal and Baptiste Courtemanche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Baptiste Courtemanche managed to get in a good position for a shot. fertig's supporters rose to their feet, but Baptiste Courtemanche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Vogel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 played minutes Pailly got a freekick which was hit by Tassilo Keller. Baptiste Courtemanche hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Tassilo Keller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pailly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave fertig the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pailly's Tassilo Keller got a free kick in the 26th minute. Stefan Vogel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baptiste Courtemanche in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of fertig booed when Pailly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Gruenigen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrizio Lüscher, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Jacques Baumgartner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Vogel was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. If Daniel Gruenigen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 55th minute, Baptiste Courtemanche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Vogel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacques Baumgartner in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stefan Vogel saved Pailly from getting behind. Baptiste Courtemanche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Stefan Vogel made a huge save. Stefan Vogel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacques Baumgartner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baptiste Courtemanche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Stefan Vogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baptiste Courtemanche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Vogel having to interfere. Urbain Regli's late challenge caught a fertig's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urbain Regli helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 78 minutes, fertig's Fabrizio Lüscher got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Stefan Vogel. Jacques Baumgartner was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jacques Baumgartner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacques Baumgartner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stefan Vogel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacques Baumgartner in the 98th minute of the match. The Pailly fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. fertig were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
