Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Baptiste Maurer got the match started through his kick off. Tran Schuler scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henri Weiss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 7th minute Baptiste Maurer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geoffroy Espa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Reufer hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A collision led to Fc Schönenwerd getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Sandro Geiger hit a great ball. Bumbach's Peter Clément couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fc Schönenwerd. A collision led to Fc Schönenwerd getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Sergius Koehler hit a great ball. 22 minutes in the game, Adrian Reufer dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Baptiste Maurer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alois Zihler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Geoffroy Espa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henri Weiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tran Schuler, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Reufer in the 42nd minute of play forced Fc Schönenwerd's goalkeeper Henri Weiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Alois Zihler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Schönenwerd's supporters rose to their feet, but Alois Zihler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geoffroy Espa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Fc Schönenwerd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bumbach were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tran Schuler made a kick off. Baptiste Maurer struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Geoffroy Espa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Schönenwerd. A hard shot 53 in the game by Adrian Reufer from a close distance when the talented Henri Weiss managed to make a qualified save. Fc Schönenwerd's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Baptiste Maurer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geoffroy Espa was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Geoffroy Espa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alois Zihler in the 56th minute of the match. When Alessio Melliger fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bumbach's protests and gave Alessio Melliger a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Bumbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Melliger to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bumbach's zone, Baptiste Maurer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geoffroy Espa came out of the goal and Baptiste Maurer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Alois Zihler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Schönenwerd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alois Zihler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Gregor Wallimann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baptiste Maurer struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Geoffroy Espa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Schönenwerd. Baptiste Maurer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Fc Schönenwerd's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Adrian Reufer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 81 minutes into the match, Peter Clément sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Henri Weiss threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Peter Clément this time. 84 minutes into the match, Bumbach's goal looked a bit too open when Alois Zihler came free, but Geoffroy Espa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 played minutes, Fc Schönenwerd's Sergius Koehler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Geoffroy Espa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fc Schönenwerd reached it. 88 minutes into the match, Fc Schönenwerd's goal looked a bit too open when Tran Schuler came free, but Henri Weiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Baptiste Maurer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henri Weiss was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Tran Schuler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tran Schuler really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. The Bumbach players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
