An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Gugolz in the 9th minute of play forced Ennetegg FC's goalkeeper Randolf Aceto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Schmid struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Randolf Aceto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Aigle. Brian Nager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Griffin Gassmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC Aigle getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Joel Schmid hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes FC Aigle got a freekick which was hit by Emil Gugolz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romano Fassbinder got free with Griffin Gassmann in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Brian Nager's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Griffin Gassmann was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, Ennetegg FC's Romano Fassbinder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Griffin Gassmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Romano Fassbinder who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Griffin Gassmann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th minute Emil Gugolz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Randolf Aceto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chris Baumeister charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chris Baumeister the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ennetegg FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Chris Baumeister hit a great ball. Emil Gugolz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Randolf Aceto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordan Déziel in the 38th minute of play. When Brian Nager came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ennetegg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Nager couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Jordan Déziel made the kick off in the second half. Emil Gugolz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randolf Aceto having to interfere. Emil Gugolz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Randolf Aceto having to make a save. In the 65th minute, Jordan Déziel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Randolf Aceto. The goal made the score 0-1. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 74 played minutes Ennetegg FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Grossenbacher. FC Aigle's Joel Schmid got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Jordan Déziel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Randolf Aceto, passed just outside the right post. Randolf Aceto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordan Déziel in the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Aigle's zone, Brian Nager stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Griffin Gassmann came out of the goal and Brian Nager tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, Ennetegg FC's Brian Nager sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Griffin Gassmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Aigle played a much better game than Ennetegg FC and deserved their victory. The Ennetegg FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
