Leonard Zulle kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harold Hinnen in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean Palluzzi saved Irgenhausen from getting behind. Harold Hinnen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Bastien Visser had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jean Palluzzi. Irgenhausen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bastien Visser was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Sascha Waller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belfaux's supporters rose to their feet, but Sascha Waller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean Palluzzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Harold Hinnen made a precise shot to the right of Jean Palluzzi. Irgenhausen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The audience was convinced that Harold Hinnen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean Palluzzi was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. If Bastien Visser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irgenhausen's Jean Palluzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harold Hinnen in the 41st minute of play. When Arrigo Anderhub fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Irgenhausen's protests and gave Arrigo Anderhub a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Irgenhausen getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Arrigo Anderhub hit a great ball. The Belfaux fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Belfaux's Harold Hinnen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Belfaux were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Phil Castelletti to make the kick off. A hard shot 51 in the game by Harold Hinnen from a close distance when the talented Jean Palluzzi managed to make a qualified save. Irgenhausen's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Bastien Visser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belfaux's supporters rose to their feet, but Bastien Visser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean Palluzzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harold Hinnen in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean Palluzzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the game, Ivan Sperisen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jean Palluzzi. Ivan Sperisen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Sascha Waller might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean Palluzzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sascha Waller ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Belfaux booed when Irgenhausen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavian Montandon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Irgenhausen's goalkeeper Jean Palluzzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harold Hinnen. Jean Palluzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sascha Waller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harold Hinnen took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean Palluzzi. Jean Palluzzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Leonard Zulle's late challenge caught a Belfaux's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonard Zulle helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Irgenhausen got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Zulle. Jean Palluzzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harold Hinnen in the 81st minute of play. Irgenhausen's Jean Palluzzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Irgenhausen from getting a goal against them. Belfaux were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Irgenhausen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bastien Visser took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Bastien Visser got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jean Palluzzi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ivan Lukas hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Sascha Waller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean Palluzzi had great luck who in the 92ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Harold Hinnen from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When the match was over Belfaux could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Irgenhausen throughout the match.
