Jeff Olivieri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Klaus Hirsch came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeff Olivieri slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeff Olivieri to strike the kick off in the second half. 64 minutes into the game, Eduard Roth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Waltenschwil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dielsdorf AC the free kick. Eduard Roth kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Waltenschwil's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stephane Fuchs was slow to take the kick. During this time Dielsdorf AC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Stephane Fuchs got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Klaus Hirsch quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sean Rüdemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvius Meyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A collision led to Dielsdorf AC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Germano Hellmüller hit a great ball. Waltenschwil's Klaus Hirsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endrik Vonarburg in the 76th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Waltenschwil's zone, Endrik Vonarburg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaus Hirsch came out of the goal and Endrik Vonarburg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Endrik Vonarburg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Klaus Hirsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Endrik Vonarburg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaus Hirsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Waltenschwil getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Eduard Roth hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dielsdorf AC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Waltenschwil had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
