Chris Balmer's late challenge caught a AC Bilano-Arco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris Balmer helped the player get up and apologised. Chris Balmer hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Hanley Märki, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 18 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ernst Ottenin-Girard was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Hanley Märki might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernst Ottenin-Girard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hanley Märki ran back to his position shaking his head. Füchse FC's Kuno Ostermann managed to work through AC Bilano-Arco's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Kuno Ostermann dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Lazarus Decimo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maik Gruenigen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Ritter, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Kuno Ostermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Maik Gruenigen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lazarus Decimo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lazarus Decimo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Ernst Ottenin-Girard skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Füchse FC's goalkeeper Ernst Ottenin-Girard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Kuno Ostermann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maik Gruenigen. AC Bilano-Arco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kuno Ostermann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Maik Gruenigen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Ritter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AC Bilano-Arco's attentive Howard Jost managed to snatch the ball when Ricky Lütolf made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. Ernst Ottenin-Girard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lazarus Decimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hanley Märki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The goalkeeper, Maik Gruenigen, was totally fooled by Füchse FC's Kevin Kuhn, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Howard Jost kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Hanley Märki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Bilano-Arco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Kuno Ostermann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Maik Gruenigen made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chris Beckenbauer during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 played minutes Füchse FC got a freekick which was hit by Chris Beckenbauer. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kuno Ostermann got free with Maik Gruenigen in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maik Gruenigen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Ritter in the 98th minute of play. Füchse FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though AC Bilano-Arco had controlled the match.
