Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) LLoyd Stübi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 5 minutes, Harald Wilhelm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ufstieger Jungs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harald Wilhelm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ufstieger Jungs's Leopoldo Schoch got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 10 minutes, Simjon Gruenigen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Glarus and the Ufstieger Jungs players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leopoldo Zihler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harald Wilhelm went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Leopoldo Schoch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th match minute, FC Glarus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simjon Gruenigen to maneuver through the defense. Harald Wilhelm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Leopoldo Schoch made a precise shot to the right of Leopoldo Zihler. FC Glarus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 34th minute, LLoyd Stübi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidor Beckenbauer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Harald Wilhelm scored 1-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Zihler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leopoldo Schoch struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Leopoldo Zihler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ufstieger Jungs. After a defensive mix-up in FC Glarus's zone, Harald Wilhelm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Zihler came out of the goal and Harald Wilhelm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Ufstieger Jungs were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Harald Wilhelm kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Dario Uttiger kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Ufstieger Jungs's Leopoldo Schoch in 63 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Leopoldo Zihler guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Leopoldo Schoch took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Zihler. Leopoldo Zihler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Ufstieger Jungs's Harald Wilhelm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leopoldo Zihler. That made the score 1-5 after 68 minutes of play. 72 minutes into the match, FC Glarus's goalkeeper Leopoldo Zihler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Schoch. After 76 minutes of play, Ufstieger Jungs's Leopoldo Schoch made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Zihler was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Schoch got free with Leopoldo Zihler in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leopoldo Zihler came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ufstieger Jungs's Leopoldo Schoch. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Schoch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. With an all-out effort, Ufstieger Jungs's Leopoldo Zihler threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Harald Wilhelm, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Schoch got free with Leopoldo Zihler in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leopoldo Zihler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Wilhelm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Schoch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Zihler made a huge save. Ufstieger Jungs played a much better game than FC Glarus and deserved their victory. The FC Glarus players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
