Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when LLoyd Stübi got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, FC Glarus's goal looked a bit too open when Orson Sperisen came free, but Leopoldo Zihler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orson Sperisen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LLoyd Stübi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Beltran Wismer came out and tried to block the shot, but LLoyd Stübi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, LLoyd Stübi put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Beltran Wismer. Beltran Wismer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from LLoyd Stübi, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Sportclub Amalgeriswilare's Orson Sperisen got a free kick in the 40th minute. The supporters of Sportclub Amalgeriswilare booed when FC Glarus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Uttiger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes FC Glarus got a freekick which was hit by LLoyd Stübi. When Orson Sperisen came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Sportclub Amalgeriswilare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orson Sperisen couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Orson Sperisen made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, FC Glarus's goalkeeper Leopoldo Zihler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sixtus Hunzinger. If LLoyd Stübi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 minutes, LucaLucan Vicente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportclub Amalgeriswilare and the FC Glarus players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sportclub Amalgeriswilare's LucaLucan Vicente got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by LLoyd Stübi in the 59th minute of play forced Sportclub Amalgeriswilare's goalkeeper Beltran Wismer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orson Sperisen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Zihler having to interfere. Charlie Gianico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Beltran Wismer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LLoyd Stübi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beltran Wismer having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, LLoyd Stübi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Beltran Wismer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Many of Sportclub Amalgeriswilare's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Sportclub Amalgeriswilare may have spent more time on the ball, but FC Glarus were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
