StanG Stadium
Spectators: 7075 (Terracing: 5250,
Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 75) Dominic Vogel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Pascal Rohn took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Herald Hengemühl to make any attempt to save it. Dominic Vogel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Herald Hengemühl when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Yggdrasil's Zac Naab got a free kick in the 11th minute. Felicien Biland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Herald Hengemühl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felicien Biland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herald Hengemühl having to interfere. If Dominic Vogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Yggdrasil getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Zac Naab hit a great ball. Dominic Vogel in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Herald Hengemühl, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 33 minutes, Zac Naab mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yggdrasil and the StanG FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zac Naab hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yggdrasil's goalkeeper Herald Hengemühl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Igor Despland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herald Hengemühl having to interfere. Gallus Kaestner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Di Luca in the 37th minute of the match. The supporters of StanG FC booed when Yggdrasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Lucciotti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Yggdrasil's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Vogel came free, but Herald Hengemühl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, StanG FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Parizeau came free, but Gallus Kaestner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Yggdrasil defense, Felicien Biland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herald Hengemühl. The Yggdrasil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herald Hengemühl should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Parizeau to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Igor Despland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The StanG FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Herald Hengemühl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Despland, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Yggdrasil's Herald Hengemühl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Despland in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dominic Vogel in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herald Hengemühl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pascal Rohn struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Herald Hengemühl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for StanG FC. In the 69th match minute, StanG FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Despland to maneuver through the defense. If Felicien Biland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Yggdrasil getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Zac Naab hit a great ball. Jakob Di Luca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Gallus Kaestner made a huge save. Herald Hengemühl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franck Wertscher in the 80th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dominic Vogel in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herald Hengemühl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the match, Yggdrasil's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Vogel came free, but Herald Hengemühl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herald Hengemühl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felicien Biland, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Romain Marthaler was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of StanG FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yggdrasil:s goal. Gallus Kaestner had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Francis Forcucci's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Pascal Rohn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakob Di Luca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the StanG FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
