Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gaston Stössel made the kick off and thus started the match. If Gaston Stössel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, one of Füchse FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Füchse FC. When Chris Balmer came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Füchse FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Balmer couldn't finish the play. Gaston Stössel might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernst Ottenin-Girard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Stössel ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Brendan Henziross put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ernst Ottenin-Girard. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Henziross in the 24th minute of play forced Füchse FC's goalkeeper Ernst Ottenin-Girard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kuno Ostermann's late challenge caught a Findelen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kuno Ostermann helped the player get up and apologised. Kuno Ostermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Stanislaw Besmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chris Balmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kuno Ostermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Stanislaw Besmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chris Beckenbauer hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Gaston Stössel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernst Ottenin-Girard. Füchse FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaston Stössel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Kuno Ostermann made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Balmer in the 55th minute of play forced Findelen's goalkeeper Stanislaw Besmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 played minutes Füchse FC got a freekick which was hit by Chris Beckenbauer. Stanislaw Besmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuno Ostermann in the 67th minute of play. Gaston Stössel took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernst Ottenin-Girard. Ernst Ottenin-Girard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Füchse FC's zone, Brendan Henziross stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernst Ottenin-Girard came out of the goal and Brendan Henziross tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chris Beckenbauer kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Füchse FC's zone, Gaston Stössel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernst Ottenin-Girard came out of the goal and Gaston Stössel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 95 minutes, Kasimir Bugnon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Füchse FC and the Findelen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Füchse FC! In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Findelen. Luis Duerr stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ernst Ottenin-Girard. 0-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Findelen eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
