Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when LLoyd Stübi got the match started through his kick off. Ernst Ottenin-Girard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Uttiger, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Füchse FC's Oskar Ritter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leopoldo Zihler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, FC Glarus's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Ritter came free, but Leopoldo Zihler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Zihler was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kasimir Bugnon. Kuno Ostermann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Zihler made a huge save. 1-0 became the score in the 18th minute when Kuno Ostermann elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Leopoldo Zihler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Ritter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Füchse FC booed when FC Glarus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Uttiger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Oskar Ritter reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leopoldo Zihler. The goal made the score 2-0. The supporters of FC Glarus booed when Füchse FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Balmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. LLoyd Stübi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ernst Ottenin-Girard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kuno Ostermann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Zihler having to make a save. Leopoldo Zihler made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Kuno Ostermann sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the match, FC Glarus's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Ritter came free, but Leopoldo Zihler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Glarus getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Simjon Gruenigen hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oskar Ritter made a kick off. In the 55th minute, one of FC Glarus:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Glarus. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Füchse FC. Kevin Kuhn stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leopoldo Zihler. 4-0. Oskar Ritter took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Zihler. Leopoldo Zihler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After a rather tough play, Füchse FC's Chris Beckenbauer got a free kick in the 64th minute. Simjon Gruenigen hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Chris Balmer hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. LLoyd Stübi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 played minutes, Füchse FC's Kasimir Bugnon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leopoldo Zihler came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Füchse FC reached it. LLoyd Stübi's late challenge caught a Füchse FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. LLoyd Stübi helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes FC Glarus got a freekick which was hit by LLoyd Stübi. 83 minutes into the match, Oskar Ritter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Zihler. FC Glarus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oskar Ritter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. The audience was convinced that Oskar Ritter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Zihler was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuno Ostermann in the 96th minute of play forced FC Glarus's goalkeeper Leopoldo Zihler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Glarus's Leopoldo Zihler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Ritter in the 99th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Füchse FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
