Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Dominic Vogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Dominic Vogel came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the StanG FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominic Vogel couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC Glarus's Gavin Brun got a free kick in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Dominic Vogel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Zihler. FC Glarus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dominic Vogel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gallus Kaestner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giraldo Batsch in the 16th minute of the match. StanG FC's Roger Laderoute got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Igor Despland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Leopoldo Zihler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Glarus were furious when Jeff Hunziker was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 24th minute, one of FC Glarus:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Glarus. Leopoldo Zihler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felicien Biland went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, FC Glarus's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Vogel came free, but Leopoldo Zihler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Dominic Vogel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Zihler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Zihler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felicien Biland in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Erik Rondinelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Glarus's Simjon Gruenigen got a free kick in the 41st minute. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Dominic Vogel sped through FC Glarus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leopoldo Zihler. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gavin Brun was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes StanG FC got a freekick which was hit by Franck Wertscher. Roger Laderoute received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Leopoldo Zihler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Zihler didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. A hard shot 58 in the game by Dominic Vogel from a close distance when the talented Leopoldo Zihler managed to make a qualified save. FC Glarus's players were relieved. In the last second Leopoldo Zihler throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dominic Vogel in the 61stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felicien Biland got free with Leopoldo Zihler in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dominic Vogels short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Leopoldo Zihler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pascal Rohn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Leopoldo Zihler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, FC Glarus's goalkeeper Leopoldo Zihler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felicien Biland. Dominic Vogel had several of the FC Glarus's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Leopoldo Zihler as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 74th minute Dominic Vogel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Zihler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominic Vogels short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Leopoldo Zihler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Pascal Rohn managed to get in a good position for a shot. StanG FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascal Rohn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Zihler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roger Laderoute fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Zihler having to interfere. StanG FC's Franck Wertscher got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dominic Vogel scored 0-8 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Zihler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Despland during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Igor Despland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded StanG FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Glarus.
