Fox Schäppi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Ivan Eggenberger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ringgenberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirsus the free kick. In the 13th minute, Johnny Schellhammer made a precise shot to the right of Fox Schäppi. Ringgenberg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 18 minutes into the game, Alwin Gruenewald was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ringgenberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirsus the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Ringgenberg:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pirsus:s goal. The referee gave Pirsus a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Percy Ziegler, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ringgenberg's Fox Schäppi. 0-4. Johnny Schellhammer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Schellhammer in the 27th minute of play forced Ringgenberg's goalkeeper Fox Schäppi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Helleren hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Johnny Schellhammer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Johnny Schellhammer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ringgenberg's zone, Johnny Schellhammer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fox Schäppi came out of the goal and Johnny Schellhammer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fox Schäppi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iago Aspas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Johnny Schellhammer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alwin Gruenewald kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Pirsus were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Ringgenberg's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Percy Ziegler took the corner. If Johnny Schellhammer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 61 minutes into the game, Iago Aspas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fox Schäppi. Iago Aspas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. In the 64th match minute, Pirsus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Helleren to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ringgenberg booed when Pirsus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keno Monney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pirsus's Dan Steiger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Raiola in the 69th minute of play. Iago Aspas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fox Schäppi having to interfere. In the 74th minute Iago Aspas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fox Schäppi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cordell Lehner's late challenge caught a Pirsus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cordell Lehner helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Ringgenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordell Lehner to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ringgenberg getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Stephane Wagner hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Pirsus's Iago Aspas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fox Schäppi. That made the score 0-6 after 79 minutes of play. Ringgenberg's Luis Alessandro got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iago Aspas in the 91st minute of play forced Ringgenberg's goalkeeper Fox Schäppi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ringgenberg's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Iago Aspas 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. Fox Schäppi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 100th minute, which inside left pole to 0-9. The Ringgenberg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pirsus were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
