Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Martial Gautschi made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 2 minutes, Marian Raiola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ringgenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marian Raiola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 3rd match minute, Eggersriet FC 89 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by August Zwirn to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Ringgenberg's Ingvar Hansen threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Alessandro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 7 minutes into the match, Eggersriet FC 89's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Alessandro came free, but Ingvar Hansen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cordell Lehner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stephane Wagner got free with Ingvar Hansen in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the game, Stephane Wagner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ingvar Hansen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fox Schäppi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beniamino Jerzinger, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 20 played minutes Eggersriet FC 89 got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Schällibaum. Marian Raiola received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ingvar Hansen came out and tried to block the shot, but Marian Raiola slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. Stephane Wagner's late challenge caught a Eggersriet FC 89's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stephane Wagner helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Eggersriet FC 89 booed when Ringgenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephane Wagner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fox Schäppi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beniamino Jerzinger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ringgenberg's Fox Schäppi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beniamino Jerzinger in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Martial Gautschi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eggersriet FC 89's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martial Gautschi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Stephane Wagner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ingvar Hansen. Stephane Wagner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Ingvar Hansen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Raiola in the 33rd minute of play. Eggersriet FC 89's Ingvar Hansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Raiola in the 42nd minute of play. August Zwirn kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Ingvar Hansen made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Stephane Wagner sent off a good shot on target.
51 minutes into the game, Alwin Gruenewald was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ringgenberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eggersriet FC 89 the free kick. The supporters of Eggersriet FC 89 booed when Ringgenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alwin Gruenewald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martial Gautschi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Fox Schäppi made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Luis Alessandro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bennett Stalder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fox Schäppi having to interfere. When August Zwirn came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Eggersriet FC 89 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that August Zwirn couldn't finish the play. Luis Alessandro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Fox Schäppi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 69 minutes, Martial Gautschi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eggersriet FC 89's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martial Gautschi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ingvar Hansen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Raiola, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Eggersriet FC 89's goal looked a bit too open when Stephane Wagner came free, but Ingvar Hansen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes, August Zwirn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eggersriet FC 89 and the Ringgenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ringgenberg booed when Eggersriet FC 89 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. August Zwirn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martial Gautschi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cordell Lehner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Hansen having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marian Raiola in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ingvar Hansen saved Eggersriet FC 89 from getting behind. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ringgenberg's goalkeeper Fox Schäppi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ringgenberg's zone, Martial Gautschi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fox Schäppi came out of the goal and Martial Gautschi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ringgenberg could leave the field as winners, despite Eggersriet FC 89 having more of the ball for most of the match.
