Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sidney Mazzolimo made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 6th play minute Celestino Drescher came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Morgan Banda. 1-0. In the 11th minute of the match AS Rapperswil-Jona got a corner. Enigma's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aurelius Amberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Matthias Bérard was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Morgan Banda came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by AS Rapperswil-Jona's Celestino Drescher. But to his dismay, Celestino Drescher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Gerd Laforge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neron Vogel in the 19th minute of play. AS Rapperswil-Jona's Gerd Laforge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Anderjoli in the 21st minute of play. Celestino Drescher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Morgan Banda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celestino Drescher took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Morgan Banda. Morgan Banda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 31st minute Herbert Anderjoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerd Laforge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Celestino Drescher left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AS Rapperswil-Jona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The tension between the AS Rapperswil-Jona and the Enigma players grew even worse after the yellow card. AS Rapperswil-Jona's Gerd Laforge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save AS Rapperswil-Jona from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tibor Verreau during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, Tibor Verreau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Morgan Banda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celestino Drescher went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. AS Rapperswil-Jona's Hercules Dommen got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celestino Drescher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morgan Banda having to interfere. Enigma's Tibor Verreau got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Tibor Verreau off the ground. Tibor Verreau hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, AS Rapperswil-Jona's Hercules Dommen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Morgan Banda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neron Vogel got free with Gerd Laforge in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, Hercules Dommen notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Enigma's Morgan Banda. Morgan Banda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Celestino Drescher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Morgan Banda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 minutes, Herbert Anderjoli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Enigma and the AS Rapperswil-Jona players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 played minutes Enigma got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Anderjoli. When the referee ended the match the AS Rapperswil-Jona players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
