Mjöllnir's Marc Brand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luc Fuhrmann in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Mjöllnir getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dominik Dubois hit a great ball. Arthur Elisabeth made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Ralf Scenna sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the game, Hans Graber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marc Brand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Fors Melodiae Lumen fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Fors Melodiae Lumen's Hans Graber looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Raffaelo Ambrogioni came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Fors Melodiae Lumen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raffaelo Ambrogioni couldn't finish the play. Marc Brand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Graber in the 23rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Fors Melodiae Lumen's Arthur Elisabeth got control of the ball when Ralf Scenna tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Graber in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marc Brand saved Mjöllnir from getting behind. Timotheus Sennrich's late challenge caught a Fors Melodiae Lumen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timotheus Sennrich helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mjöllnir's Timotheus Sennrich got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Didier Bonenfant to strike the kick off in the second half. Mjöllnir's Marc Brand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Mjöllnir from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Fors Melodiae Lumen booed when Mjöllnir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Schmidlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marc Brand was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Hans Graber capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hans Graber really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marc Brand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Graber in the 90th minute of play. Hans Graber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marc Brand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thierry Bachmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Fors Melodiae Lumen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
