Arthur Elisabeth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Massimo Poulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Robin Bossert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Arthur Elisabeth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arthur Elisabeth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Bossert in the 26th minute of the match. Arthur Elisabeth came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by SIRI United's Robin Bossert. But to his dismay, Robin Bossert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. SIRI United's Cătălin Hidiș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luc Fuhrmann in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luc Fuhrmann in the 35th minute of play forced SIRI United's goalkeeper Cătălin Hidiș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Pastor Jago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Elisabeth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hans Graber fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fors Melodiae Lumen's protests and gave Hans Graber a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fors Melodiae Lumen getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Hans Graber hit a great ball. Cătălin Hidiș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luc Fuhrmann in the 44th minute of play. When Massimo Poulin fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SIRI United's protests and gave Massimo Poulin a yellow card for diving instead. Paolo Guerreiro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 48th playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hans Graber made a kick off. Cătălin Hidiș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathan Parizeau in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Fors Melodiae Lumen booed when SIRI United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Bossert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Massimo Poulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Elisabeth having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Fors Melodiae Lumen's goalkeeper Arthur Elisabeth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robin Bossert. Robin Bossert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fors Melodiae Lumen made a substitution. When the referee ended the match the Fors Melodiae Lumen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
