With a little luck, Promille FC's Birger Pollastrini got control of the ball when Victor Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xerxes Doro in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Birger Pollastrini saved Promille FC from getting behind. Mano Bland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Etienne Borghi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xerxes Doro in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Birger Pollastrini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the match, Xerxes Doro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Promille FC's Birger Pollastrini. Birger Pollastrini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the game, Jesse Frischknecht was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Promille FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beaumont the free kick. When Xerxes Doro in the 20th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Birger Pollastrini kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 2-1 became the score in the 24th minute when Reynold Pfenniger elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Xerxes Doro took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Birger Pollastrini. Birger Pollastrini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boris Schweizer during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes Beaumont got a freekick which was hit by Boris Schweizer. Beaumont's Victor Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Promille FC's Jesse Frischknecht got his second yellow card of the match in the 35th minute. The referee ordered Jesse Frischknecht off the ground. In the 35th match minute, Promille FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesse Frischknecht to maneuver through the defense. Etienne Borghi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Xerxes Doro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Birger Pollastrini was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Promille FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xerxes Doro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. If Xerxes Doro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Beaumont's Xerxes Doro in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Promille FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Promille FC's zone, Xerxes Doro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birger Pollastrini came out of the goal and Xerxes Doro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Birger Pollastrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xerxes Doro, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Etienne Borghi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A hard shot by Reynold Pfenniger from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Mano Bland's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xerxes Doro in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Etienne Borghi got free with Mano Bland in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Beaumont booed when Promille FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hunter Hermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birger Pollastrini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xerxes Doro's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Ueli Chauvet got a throw-in 85 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Boris Schweizer. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Amaral during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, Xerxes Doro made a precise shot to the right of Birger Pollastrini. Promille FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Promille FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
