Apfelbaum's Arnaldo Fiedler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Freitag in the 17th minute of play. Gallus Schöpfer scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Friedel Müller, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gallus Schöpfer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Apfelbaum's Gallus Schöpfer got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Apfelbaum booed when Bureboys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frayne Rub didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Nico Gerste in the 30th minute really tested Friedel Müller's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Ricky Wannemaker fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bureboys's protests and gave Ricky Wannemaker a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bureboys's Ricky Wannemaker got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bureboys's goalkeeper Friedel Müller, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 42 minutes of play, Bureboys's Cäsar Osterhagen made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Fiedler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gallus Schöpfer made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Michael Freitag had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Fiedler. Apfelbaum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michael Freitag was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 56th minute Michael Freitag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Fiedler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gallus Schöpfer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Friedel Müller having to interfere. The supporters of Bureboys booed when Apfelbaum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arndt Chiavetta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Gaitan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Gaitan took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Friedel Müller. Friedel Müller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After a rather tough play, Apfelbaum's Arndt Chiavetta got a free kick in the 69th minute. The supporters of Bureboys booed when Apfelbaum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arndt Chiavetta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Fiedler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Obrist in the 73rd minute of play. Arnaldo Fiedler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Obrist in the 79th minute of the match. Arnaldo Fiedler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Freitag in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Conrad Bohren notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Apfelbaum's Arnaldo Fiedler. Arnaldo Fiedler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Michael Freitag could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Fiedler made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Bureboys's Cäsar Osterhagen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bureboys had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
