The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Saillon AC's Bertrand Schoch got a free kick in the 9th minute. Birger Pollastrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerrick Zulle, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, Fergus Campigli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, Reynold Pfenniger recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cecil Mahler. Reynold Pfenniger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Birger Pollastrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerrick Zulle, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Garcia Schüepp scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Birger Pollastrini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 29 in the game by Etienne Borghi from a close distance when the talented Cecil Mahler managed to make a qualified save. Saillon AC's players were relieved. Saillon AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Promille FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerrick Zulle in the 38th minute of play forced Promille FC's goalkeeper Birger Pollastrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Reynold Pfenniger took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Cecil Mahler to make any attempt to save it. 46 minutes into the match, Promille FC's goal looked a bit too open when Garcia Schüepp came free, but Birger Pollastrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Garcia Schüepp to strike the kick off in the second half. Etienne Borghi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Saillon AC's Pietro Urner got a free kick in the 54th minute. Etienne Borghi might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecil Mahler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Etienne Borghi ran back to his position shaking his head. When Garcia Schüepp fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Birger Pollastrini came out of the goal and Jerrick Zulle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Saillon AC defense, Etienne Borghi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cecil Mahler. The Saillon AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cecil Mahler should have stopped the shot. Cecil Mahler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynold Pfenniger in the 92nd minute of play. Federico Geisseler hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Promille FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Saillon AC for a fine match.
