The Saillon AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cecil Mahler should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomasz Imbor in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cecil Mahler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Quirino Rauber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cecil Mahler having to make a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomasz Imbor to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Castagnola's Quirino Rauber dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. With his leg Cecil Mahler managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Castagnola's Quirino Rauber fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Saillon AC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Fergus Campigli hit a great ball. Fergus Campigli was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Imbor in the 75th minute of play forced Saillon AC's goalkeeper Cecil Mahler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Tomasz Imbor notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of Saillon AC's Cecil Mahler. A well placed Tomasz Imbor short distance shot in the 87th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Quirino Rauber received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cecil Mahler came out and tried to block the shot, but Quirino Rauber slotted it home off the left post making it 1-11 in the 90th minute. Tomasz Imbor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Saillon AC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Castagnola were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
