Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Christy Ammon made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute Jerrick Zulle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Berardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thimotheus Roth during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Böttstein FC's goalkeeper Lars Berardi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Federico Geisseler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Lars Berardi made a huge save. 12 minutes into the match, Böttstein FC's goalkeeper Lars Berardi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerrick Zulle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garcia Schüepp in the 15th minute of play forced Böttstein FC's goalkeeper Lars Berardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christy Ammon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cecil Mahler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Federico Geisseler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Lars Berardi made a huge save. Fergus Campigli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Berardi having to interfere. Böttstein FC's Lars Berardi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Böttstein FC from getting a goal against them. Percy Sablone charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Percy Sablone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Böttstein FC booed when Saillon AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Sablone didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Saillon AC's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Reck came free, but Cecil Mahler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cecil Wegmüller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cecil Mahler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thimotheus Roth in the 46th minute of the match. Cecil Mahler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thimotheus Roth, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Garcia Schüepp to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerrick Zulle in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Berardi saved Böttstein FC from getting behind. In the 58th minute Garcia Schüepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Berardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Böttstein FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerrick Zulle came free, but Lars Berardi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Berardi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garcia Schüepp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florentin Rüegsegger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Berardi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garcia Schüepp in the 64th minute of play forced Böttstein FC's goalkeeper Lars Berardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Böttstein FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Saillon AC:s goal. Lars Berardi had in the 71stth minute some difficulties stopping Bertrand Schoch's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 3-0 came in the 71st minute when Bertrand Schoch all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Lars Berardi. Lars Berardi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerrick Zulle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Garcia Schüepp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saillon AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Florentin Rüegsegger hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Jerrick Zulle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Berardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Federico Geisseler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Garcia Schüepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Berardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Yannis Huber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Böttstein FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saillon AC the free kick. In the 97th match minute, Böttstein FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yannis Huber to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Saillon AC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
