The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guillermo Chauvet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Pier Lauzier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen Isenegger in the 10th minute of play forced FC Oberwil's goalkeeper Pier Lauzier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Stephen Isenegger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pier Lauzier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Chauvet struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Pier Lauzier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hauenstein. 25 minutes into the match, Stephen Isenegger notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Oberwil's Pier Lauzier. Pier Lauzier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the FC Oberwil defense, Guillermo Chauvet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pier Lauzier. The FC Oberwil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pier Lauzier should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stephen Isenegger in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pier Lauzier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rdth minute of the game Stephen Isenegger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Oberwil's Pier Lauzier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elijah Cacciatore's late challenge caught a Hauenstein's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elijah Cacciatore helped the player get up and apologised. Elijah Cacciatore kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Bruce Bächler made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Chauvet in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pier Lauzier saved FC Oberwil from getting behind. Stephen Isenegger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pier Lauzier having to interfere. Stephen Iseneggers short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Pier Lauzier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 65th minute, Guillermo Chauvet fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pier Lauzier, passed just outside the right post. Stephen Isenegger in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pier Lauzier, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 70th minute, Hauenstein's Guillermo Chauvet dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Guillermo Chauvet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pier Lauzier having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, FC Oberwil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elijah Cacciatore to maneuver through the defense. Pier Lauzier made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Stephen Isenegger sent off a good shot on target. Pier Lauzier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Chauvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruce Bächler struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Lamberto Dürig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Oberwil. When Guillermo Chauvet came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Hauenstein fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Chauvet couldn't finish the play. Stephen Isenegger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Pier Lauzier made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Guillermo Chauvet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pier Lauzier. The goal made the score 0-6. Stephen Isenegger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Guillermo Chauvet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hauenstein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Chauvet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lamberto Dürig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruce Bächler, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Hauenstein's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
