In the 5th minute, Beat Hagenbuch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Stadtclub fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Beat Hagenbuch sped through Suruç's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Enrico Peter. Tobias Caron hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Beat Hagenbuch put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Enrico Peter. After a rather tough play, FC Stadtclub's Beat Hagenbuch got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute of the match, Benoit Luthiger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fabio Hesse saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to FC Stadtclub getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Dorel Bordei hit a great ball. Tomas Kernen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Hesse. FC Stadtclub's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 47th minute, Goliath Domini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dick Chauvet was the one to do the kick off. Matthias Vrijdags charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matthias Vrijdags the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Suruç made a substitution. Raffaele Strickler replaced Dick Chauvet. In the 56th minute, FC Stadtclub's Beat Hagenbuch dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Fabio Hesse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benoit Luthiger in the 60th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, FC Stadtclub's Enrico Peter threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Beat Hagenbuch, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 68thth minute of the game Beat Hagenbuch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suruç's Enrico Peter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yannick Walpert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, FC Stadtclub's Beat Hagenbuch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrico Peter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Beat Hagenbuch got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 82nd minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. Beat Hagenbuch kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Suruç's keeper Enrico Peter was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 90th minute, Beat Hagenbuch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over FC Stadtclub could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Suruç throughout the match.
