After some careless play in the New England Tea Men defense, Bruce Bächler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dominik Weiss. The New England Tea Men fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dominik Weiss should have stopped the shot. In the 7th minute Ferdinand Vonarburg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Weiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryan Stofner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bruce Bächler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to New England Tea Men getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Simjon Blumer hit a great ball. Ferdinand Vonarburg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Weiss having to interfere. FC Oberwil's Pier Lauzier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Oberwil from getting a goal against them. After 23 minutes, Domingo Kreyenbühl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New England Tea Men and the FC Oberwil players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dominik Weiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Vonarburg in the 25th minute of play. Domingo Kreyenbühl kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, New England Tea Men's goal looked a bit too open when Bruce Bächler came free, but Dominik Weiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bruce Bächler fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Oberwil's protests and gave Bruce Bächler a yellow card for diving instead. When Bruce Bächler came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the FC Oberwil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruce Bächler couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ferdinand Vonarburg managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Oberwil's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinand Vonarburg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominik Weiss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the game, Miroslav Werfel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Oberwil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New England Tea Men the free kick. In the 41st match minute, FC Oberwil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslav Werfel to maneuver through the defense. Matthias Besse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pier Lauzier having to interfere. New England Tea Men's Dominik Weiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Bächler in the 44th minute of play. Dominik Weiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Vonarburg in the 47th minute of play. After the first half FC Oberwil were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matthias Besse was the one to do the kick off. Dominik Weiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruce Bächler in the 57th minute of the match. Dominik Weiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elijah Cacciatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinand Vonarburg got free with Dominik Weiss in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dominik Weiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elijah Cacciatore in the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 minutes, Ferdinand Vonarburg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Oberwil and the New England Tea Men players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice moves Ferdinand Vonarburg could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Dominik Weiss however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Bächler in the 69th minute of play forced New England Tea Men's goalkeeper Dominik Weiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Matthias Besse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New England Tea Men's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Besse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, FC Oberwil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romano Imbach to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of New England Tea Men booed when FC Oberwil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elijah Cacciatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elijah Cacciatore during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes FC Oberwil got a freekick which was hit by Elijah Cacciatore. Pier Lauzier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matthias Besse's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elijah Cacciatore in the 83rd minute of play forced New England Tea Men's goalkeeper Dominik Weiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, New England Tea Men's goal looked a bit too open when Bruce Bächler came free, but Dominik Weiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthias Besse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The New England Tea Men supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Oberwil's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Oberwil.
