The supporters of Suruç booed when FC Oberwil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ansgar Röösli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Dick Chauvet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pier Lauzier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dick Chauvet went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Suruç's Enrico Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ansgar Röösli in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olivier Jakobeit during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Olivier Jakobeit kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Vonarburg in the 25th minute of play forced Suruç's goalkeeper Enrico Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Ferdinand Vonarburg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Suruç reached it. In the 43rd minute, Ansgar Röösli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Tomas Kernen hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Olivier Jakobeit notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FC Oberwil's Pier Lauzier. Pier Lauzier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pier Lauzier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivier Jakobeit in the 62nd minute of play. If Benoit Luthiger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olivier Jakobeit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Pier Lauzier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinand Vonarburg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pier Lauzier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivier Jakobeit, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olivier Jakobeit in the 87th minute of play forced FC Oberwil's goalkeeper Pier Lauzier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Suruç booed when FC Oberwil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ansgar Röösli didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Suruç fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Oberwil had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
