If Bruce Bächler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinand Vonarburgs short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Alvarez Déziel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ferdinand Vonarburg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Alvarez Déziel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Oberwil's zone, Ralph Mazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pier Lauzier came out of the goal and Ralph Mazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fred Duplanty blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pier Lauzier having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinand Vonarburg got free with Alvarez Déziel in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Riedli HC's Alvarez Déziel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Bächler in the 45th minute of play. When FC Oberwil's Bruce Bächler in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Riedli HC's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Claude Abendroth made the kick off in the second half. Alvarez Déziel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Vonarburg in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinand Vonarburg in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvarez Déziel saved Riedli HC from getting behind. If Fred Duplanty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ansgar Röösli fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Oberwil's protests and gave Ansgar Röösli a yellow card for diving instead. Ansgar Röösli kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. FC Oberwil's Pier Lauzier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FC Oberwil from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the match, Riedli HC's Claude Abendroth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pier Lauzier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Riedli HC's Claude Abendroth in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Germain Ackerman hit a great ball. Alvarez Déziel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elijah Cacciatore in the 78th minute of play. Ferdinand Vonarburg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alvarez Déziel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruce Bächler in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Jasper Bonato had to leave the field with a concussion. When Claude Abendroth fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riedli HC's protests and gave Claude Abendroth a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Oberwil booed when Riedli HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claude Abendroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Duplanty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Oberwil's Pier Lauzier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claude Abendroth in the 93rd minute of play. If Ferdinand Vonarburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Elijah Cacciatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvarez Déziel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
