Benoit Luthiger hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. A collision led to Suruç getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Goliath Domini hit a great ball. After 30 played minutes AG.S. Rhäzüns FC got a freekick which was hit by Yannick Gugger. The throw-in from Goliath Domini in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's Beat Rindlisbacher. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olivier Jakobeit in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Lütolf saved AG.S. Rhäzüns FC from getting behind. Benoit Luthiger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Dick Chauvet came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Suruç fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dick Chauvet couldn't finish the play. Rhäzüns FC got a freekick which was hit by Yannick Gugger. 80 minutes into the match, Dick Chauvet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas Lütolf. AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dick Chauvet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Benoit Luthiger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dick Chauvet came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Suruç fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dick Chauvet couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Suruç booed when AG.S. Rhäzüns FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yannick Gugger didn't get a good kick on the ball. The AG.S. Rhäzüns FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Suruç were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
