If Beat Hagenbuch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21stth minute of the game Beat Hagenbuch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but kingzz's Joao Lugg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joao Lugg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Jeanneret, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After some careless play in the kingzz defense, Beat Hagenbuch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joao Lugg. The kingzz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joao Lugg should have stopped the shot. Joao Lugg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beat Hagenbuch in the 30th minute of the match. Romero Affolter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joao Lugg having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Beat Hagenbuch put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Joao Lugg. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elia Vonrotz during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of kingzz booed when FC Stadtclub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Vonrotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th match minute, FC Stadtclub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yannick Walpert to maneuver through the defense. Reiner Hollenstein hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Yannick Walpert struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Joao Lugg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Stadtclub. 43 minutes into the game, FC Stadtclub's Beat Hagenbuch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joao Lugg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After the first half FC Stadtclub were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beat Hagenbuch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to kingzz getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Pepe Bircher hit a great ball. Joao Lugg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yannick Walpert in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Gianluca Schifferli threw the ball into play from the sideline. kingzz's Isai Graf quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Beat Hagenbuch sped through kingzz's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joao Lugg. kingzz's Joao Lugg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beat Hagenbuch in the 63rd minute of play. Pepe Bircher kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Stadtclub's Beat Hagenbuch got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 75th match minute, FC Stadtclub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Caron to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Beat Hagenbuch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 79th play minutes Beat Hagenbuch shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Joao Lugg and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Willy Bragger in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Hesse saved FC Stadtclub from getting behind. Fabio Hesse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willy Bragger, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The kingzz fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Stadtclub were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
