If Tim Heuberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th match minute, New England Tea Men was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicholas Rotzer to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to New England Tea Men getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dolf Biland hit a great ball. After 20 minutes of play, Real Kurdistan 05's Yan LondeLalonde made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matthias Besse was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joshua Lindemann made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Jeff Büchler sent off a good shot on target. Dolf Biland hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Real Kurdistan 05's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Heuberger came free, but Joshua Lindemann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tim Heuberger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joshua Lindemann having to interfere. Yan LondeLalonde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Besse having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Dolf Biland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New England Tea Men's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Kurdistan 05 the free kick. After a rather tough play, New England Tea Men's Dolf Biland got a free kick in the 38th minute. Yan LondeLalonde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Matthias Besse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Yan LondeLalonde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Kurdistan 05 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yan LondeLalonde made a kick off. When Domingo Kreyenbühl fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New England Tea Men's protests and gave Domingo Kreyenbühl a yellow card for diving instead. Domingo Kreyenbühl hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. New England Tea Men's Matthias Besse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save New England Tea Men from getting a goal against them. Matthias Besse came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Kurdistan 05's Ernest Coulombe. But to his dismay, Ernest Coulombe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 64 played minutes New England Tea Men got a freekick which was hit by Dolf Biland. After a defensive mix-up in Real Kurdistan 05's zone, Jeff Büchler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joshua Lindemann came out of the goal and Jeff Büchler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, New England Tea Men's Nicholas Rotzer got a free kick in the 74th minute. August Kaelin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Matthias Besse made a huge save. The supporters of Real Kurdistan 05 booed when New England Tea Men was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dawson Baraglia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yan LondeLalonde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Besse having to interfere. August Kaelin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matthias Besse having to make a save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Real Kurdistan 05:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of New England Tea Men:s goal. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for New England Tea Men. Nikodemus Moser stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joshua Lindemann. 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Real Kurdistan 05 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
