Romeo Lowe hit a great ball. Dolf Biland hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Heuberger in the 17th minute of play forced Ayer's goalkeeper Nicolas Waller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthias Besse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Zuccarino in the 28th minute. Enrique Zuccarino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ayer's Collin Fink got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
