Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ueli Dali made the kick off which started today's match. Enrique Zuccarino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC Oberwil booed when Ayer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Zuccarino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th match minute, FC Oberwil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Vonarburg to maneuver through the defense. Bruce Bächler kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Enrique Zuccarino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pier Lauzier having to interfere. Nicolas Waller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruce Bächler in the 17th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Oberwil's goalkeeper Pier Lauzier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicolas Waller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Bächler in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Ayer's goalkeeper Nicolas Waller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdinand Vonarburg. Enrique Zuccarino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pier Lauzier having to interfere. If Ueli Dali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ansgar Röösli hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ueli Dali took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pier Lauzier. Pier Lauzier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nicolas Waller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elijah Cacciatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Collin Fink came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ayer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Collin Fink couldn't finish the play. FC Oberwil's Pier Lauzier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ueli Dali in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Enrique Zuccarino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Ayer's Collin Fink sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pier Lauzier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Enrique Zuccarino came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ayer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Zuccarino couldn't finish the play. After the first half Ayer were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Bruce Bächler made the kick off in the second half. Ayer were furious when Harald Strobel was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 60 minutes of play, FC Oberwil's Elijah Cacciatore made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Waller was left in no man's land by his defense there! Collin Fink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Collin Fink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pier Lauzier having to interfere. Ueli Dali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Pier Lauzier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ayer's Romeo Lowe got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ueli Dali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Pier Lauzier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Collin Fink struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Pier Lauzier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ayer. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Oberwil were victorious despite being under pressure from Ayer for much of the match.
