Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ueli Dali took the kick off in the first half of the match. Enrique Zuccarino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Lütolf having to interfere. Nicolas Waller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylvester Binzegger in the 7th minute of play. Jonas Lütolf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ueli Dali in the 9th minute of play. After 11 minutes AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Jaeger who took care of the corner kick. Ayer's Mario Jaeger was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonas Lütolf in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 12 minutes into the match, Ayer's Ueli Dali sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas Lütolf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's Yannick Gugger got a free kick in the 16th minute. Enrique Zuccarino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Jonas Lütolf made a huge save. In the 18th minute, Ayer's Enrique Zuccarino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Ueli Dali came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Ayer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ueli Dali couldn't finish the play. If Romeo Lowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Zuccarino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Lütolf having to interfere. After 30 minutes, Sylvester Binzegger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AG.S. Rhäzüns FC and the Ayer players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes Ayer got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Lowe. The supporters of AG.S. Rhäzüns FC booed when Ayer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Lowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's Jonas Lütolf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save AG.S. Rhäzüns FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Collin Fink managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayer's supporters rose to their feet, but Collin Fink was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Lütolf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eamon Hess was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Enrique Zuccarino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonas Lütolf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 55 played minutes AG.S. Rhäzüns FC got a freekick which was hit by Yannick Gugger. If Ueli Dali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Enrique Zuccarino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonas Lütolf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ueli Dali in the 59th minute of play. Sylvester Binzegger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Nicolas Waller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palmiro Schaerer charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Palmiro Schaerer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, one of Ayer:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ayer. If Pablo Barrière had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Zuccarino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ayer were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mario Jaeger took the corner. The corner ended in Mario Jaeger almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's Jonas Lütolf did a great save. Ayer's Harald Strobel got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonas Lütolf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Zuccarino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 83 minutes, Collin Fink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ayer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Collin Fink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of AG.S. Rhäzüns FC booed when Ayer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Collin Fink didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Lütolf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Collin Fink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sylvester Binzegger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Nicolas Waller made a huge save. A hard, long distance shot from Pablo Barrière flew over the goal. Jonas Lütolf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Zuccarino in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Ayer were the better team. Ayer's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
